It has taken me a little longer to sit down and write this blog as I would have liked to have written sooner. I have no excuses other then then to blame the lack of hours in the day.
On the 31st March 2018 the Deerview Deli had another exciting day visiting potential customers at Architectural Plants in Pulborough.
Whilst Architectural Plants are better known for providing a great service in Garden Design with a large plant Nursery specialising in hardy, Evergreen and exotic plants and trees they have been hosting periodic 'meet the maker' days to allow us and others to show off a range of our goodies to the general public.
Whilst the onsite Cafe already stocks a range of our products and our Spiced Apple Chutney is a resident on their menu this was a great way for the locals to meet us and for us to show off some of the cheeses that the Deerview Deli has to offer. These included the Vintage Barbers 1833, Godminster's Organic cheddar, High Wealds Brighton Blue and the iconic Snowdonia Black Bomber.
A camera crew was there filming some of the days events and would have been able to have captured that the tastings went very well.
The rain held off for the best part of the day and we even made a small wedge of money from our sales on the day. This meant that we were able to spend on a couple of treats from some of the other stalls such as @lladyjayne1 and @ladylissyfloristry who are well worth a visit.
All in all a very relaxed and worthwhile day. Watch out for us at the next event here on the 14th July 2018.
